TRACEE FIELD FIELD RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
(Revised May 20th, 2014)

  1. The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) safety rules are accepted in their entirety.
  2. NO spectators in the pit area.
  3. All engines 0.20 and larger must have an approved muffler.
  4. All flyers must use the frequency board.
  5. Flyers are cautioned to be aware of full-scale military aircraft.
  6. NO high-speed low-level passes toward pit area (E< – >W).
  7. NO high-speed low-level passes over runway (N< – >S). Such passes must be over grassy area east of runway.
  8. All flyers MUST stand behind safety fence to fly.
  9. NO taxing in or out of pit area. You must carry or hold onto your plane until on the flight line.
  10. All transmitter antennas must be collapsed & transmitter power switch in “off” position after each flight only after aircraft power has been switched off.
  11. Heli’s & multi-rotor aircraft are permitted and should follow any current flight pattern. Maintenance flights/hovering should be done ONLY in the designated area southwest of runway (heli pad).
  12. NO cell phones are permitted in pit area.
  13. All flyers should be aware of golfers east of runway. NO LOW-LEVEL FLYING OVER GOLF COURSE!!!!
  14. ABSOLUTELY NO FLYING OVER POWER LINES AT SOUTH END OF FIELD!!!
  15. NO turbine powered aircraft allowed at Tracee Field.
  16. Only current paid JCRCF members are permitted access to locked club building. Keys can only be obtained from a club officer.
  17. No personal items are to be left or stored in club building. Lost & found items may be left inside only until claimed by owner.
  18. NO SMOKING in club building. Smoking outside is permitted. Dispose of butts properly in ashtrays/butt cans.
